It's 2008...

Well, we are one month into 2008. For most January is a time of resolutions and new beginnings. And, the Green Beans are ready for the new things God has in store. Although, we can't see the full picture, we know that "God is up to something". We have met twice since the beginning of the year and we realize that we have to be fully surrendered to God's will in a holy surrender. As Christ is the Head of the church, He is the Head of this group, as we are a part of the Body of Christ. We look forward to the ministry opportunities ahead - opportunities which will allow us to fulfill our God-given mission. We feel called to reach souls for Jesus Christ and to break down denominational barriers and bring together the body of Christ through para-church events while bringing God glory in all that we do, for without Him, we can do nothing.
We invite you to join with us in prayer over the next few months as we establish our LLC, and seek God's vision for this ministry. We ask that you would join our prayer team, as well inviting your friends and family to join our prayer team
(you can do so by visiting this link: http://www.thegreenbeans.org/Prayer.html or clicking on the sidebar on our homepage that reads, "join our prayer team").
Please check back to our website frequently for updates, as we journey on this adventure.
Thank you for your support of this ministry!

We're off and running

Greetings.
I was taught a few years ago that the first sign of disobedience when God asks something of you is to ask "how?"
We are not sure what God has planned for this ministry but we are ready to step out in faith and follow where He leads.
We want to bring together the body of Christ in our community through music, teaching, fellowship, and other events.   What a witness to the world if the body of Christ could come together through our common faith and love in our savior, Jesus Christ.
I hope you will support us by your prayers and presence.   Keep checking back for information about where God is leading us and opportunities to join with us.
Now, as Paul writes in his second letter to the Corinthians (2Corinthians 13:14), "may the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all."
